Magic the Gathering Kamigawa – Neon Dynasty Pre-released

Ninjutsu
The return of the ninjutsu mechanic, you can return an unblocked attacker to your hand by paying the ninjutsu cost for a card in your hand, putting the card you payed the ninjutsu cost for onto the battlefield tapped and attacking.

Channel
You can pay a card’s channel cost and discard it to perform it’s channel effect. We’re getting an awesome cycle of legendary lands with the channel ability. These seem like super versatile cards!

Reconfigure
Reconfigure is a new mechanic which allows you to turn artifact creatures into equipment which can then be attached and unattached to other creatures, giving them a buff while attached.

Modified
Modified is another new keyword which identified creatures that are equipped, have +1 counters or auras on them. Creatures which match any of these conditions are considered modified.

Sagas
Sagas are in this set! All the sagas in this set are double sided cards which flip once the saga side is complete. Remember to pick up some fully opaque Dual sleeves so you can’t see cards through the back of your card sleeves.

Compleated
In Magic’s lore, compleation is when all organic parts of a body are replaced by artifacts, compleated beings are soulless, but still have the mind of the being that was compleated.

In this set, Compleated is a mix of phyrexian and hybrid mana, you can pay either mana color, or pay 2 life, however, if you use life to pay for the card, the planeswalker enters the battlefield with two fewer loyalty counters. Only 1 card in this set has compleation.

Although compleated beings are soulless, Tamiyo a compleated being, still has her soul, this is due to a breakthrough in Jin-Gitaxia’s research on Kamigawa.
