Khione, Daughter of Snow
Few snow dragons have ever been seen in Arcania, causing their existence to become the stuff of wive’s tales, the most famous being the story of Boreas of Ice and Mielikki of Umber.
It is said that Boreas lived alone in the icy Wraithlands until one day he came upon Mielikki just over the southern border, where the trees meet the snow. Dragon mating rituals remain mysterious even now, but it is said that Boreas brought Mielikki an Ice Rose from the unreachable Wraithland Fields for ten moons. Entranced by the rose, Mielikki fell in love, and soon, Khione, Daughter of Snow, took to the skies.
